Rob Peters
General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Mr. Peters serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretaryfor Check-6 International Inc., and its subsidiaries, foreign and domestic, and is a member of the Company’s executive management team. He is responsible for, and manages the company’s global legal function and all legal and related matters, including domestic and international business transactions, global litigation, arbitration, mediation, and corporate governance. As Corporate Secretary for Check-6, Mr. Peters serves at the leisure of the Board of Directors for the parent corporation, as well as liaison for the company’s affiliated entities and foreign subsidiaries. He is an AV Preeminent-rated corporate counsel with 25 years of experience encompassing an expansive array of legal matters both domestically and internationally.
Prior to joining Check-6, Mr. Peters was a business attorney in private practice where he advised domestic and international clients with all facets of business, including strategic business planning and operations.
Mr. Peters earned a bachelor’s degree from The University of Kansas, where he also was a member of KU’s baseball team, and named first team all-conference his senior season. He received his Juris Doctoratefrom The University of Tulsa College of Law. He serves, and has served, on various boards of directors for profit and non-profit entities.
