Breakfast for Champions in Houston 

Professional organizations are often spaces for networking, career development, and personal growth. 
 
This is certainly true for the Houston-based Bayou City Breakfast Club, whose overarching mission is to “provide young professionals in Houston with the opportunity to expand their professional networks and keep abreast of the business, social, and political environment within Houston and the State of Texas.” 
 
Part of how they realize this mission includes inviting a keynote speaker to educate and inspire their members at their monthly gathering. 
 
In March 2021, Check-6 founder Brian “Bru” Brurud had the privilege of sharing about his service as a Naval Strike Fighter Pilot. His story not only provided insights into the challenges service people experience but also captured the correlation between professional and personal development.
