Teams go from good to great when:

Trust, one of the fundamental elements of a great team, is present.

When a team trusts one another, opportunities are opened for healthy competition, conflict and creativity. It’s not about choosing ‘our way’ but rather the way ‘best way’, which leads to a culture of innovation and sustained superior performance.

The 'Check-6 Difference' lies in:

Our coaches ability to work with the most junior member of the team up to the C-suite.

Our boots-on-deck approach helps us engage our clients in their real-world work environment and together apply the coaching and mentoring we provide, helping the learning process from becoming ‘sticky’. The focus is always to take the client’s objectives, help fully develop those objectives and then work with their team to sustainably achieve the company’s goals.

Greatest lesson learned from consulting teams across the globe:

In all cases, changing a team’s culture is difficult, and without overt support from corporate leadership, change will rarely happen.

Evolving a culture starts when leadership is ready to take a risk and engage their people while practicing accountability themselves and setting the standard. Those standards of which must be clear, communicated, and simple, or else individuals will work around them rather than adopt them.

Chris Earl leads the Western Hemisphere’s Energy Portfolio. With the help of our Check-6 team, Chris is focused on delivering world-class consulting services across all elements of Oil and Gas, including the development, installation, and operations of renewable energy technologies.

Outside of consulting hours, Chris enjoys working on home improvement projects or building something in his shop. You can also find him outside participating in sports or, once the sun goes down, playing his guitar.

Words of Wisdom: Achieving something extraordinary never happens alone. While hard work is required of us to meet our goals, there are always people around us, supporting us and helping make it happen.

Never forgot those individuals and thank them often.
