Will Snelling. Head of Health, Safety and Environment
Teams go from good to great when:

Our philosophy of implementing four key performance indicators is our key to success. We keep our people involved, interested, informed and inspired.

The Check-6 difference lies in:

Ninety-five percent of Check-6 has a former military special operational skill set. This means we are already “battle-tested”. When you find a group that is cut from the same cloth, the pride and the camaraderie are instantaneous. The standard becomes do the job right, the first time. Then, we stand the post until the job is done exemplifying mission accomplishment at its finest.  That is Accelerated Human Performance.

Greatest lesson learned from consulting teams across the globe:

Whether it be Malaysia, Gulf of Mexico Business units, Check-6 Mining and so many others, these hard-chargers share unique challenges.  Each country, hemisphere, or platform has its own flavor of difficulties and our experts have adapted and overcome those obstacles. Sharing those experiences through quarterly meetings, newsletters, or safety training,  has helped our entire unit stay razor-sharp in readiness and with solutions.

Will Snelling serves as Head of Health, Safety and Environment for Check-6 International Inc., overseeing 46 different HSSE programs, which are revised quarterly and updated annually. All of these programs follow policies and procedures within the General and Oil & Gas Industries, all in conjunction with OSHA Guidelines. His experience stands on Professionalism, Leadership, Attitude and Teamwork which is essential to his direction in the protection of property, equipment and saving lives.

Will is Petroleum Education Council (PEC) Certified and provides classroom instruction, administers testing and issues certifications to all required safety prevention topics for onshore and offshore oil rig operations. Expertise include the current Safety Environment Management Systems (SEMS II) and the Terrorist Response Awareness Program (TRAP).

Outside of working hours, you’ll catch Will traveling, ziplining, jet-skiing or parasailing. He also enjoys the NFL, NBA, MLB and Boxing. Ask him about his favorite walking trail when he walks his dog.

Words of Wisdom: There are four things that make up Experience. Strength to know what you are good at, Weakness to know where you need work, Victory to remember when you raised both fists in triumph and Defeat to recall what it was like to get up when you fell. Acknowledge and Respect all four!
